Про перевод «единый» без single и unified

Еще одно слово, которое вводит меня в ступор — единый. Вот как увижу — в голову лезут только два дежурных варианта: single и unified/uniform. Но ведь слово-то хорошее, сильное, не может быть у него всего два варианта. В общем, эту тему мы тоже решили копнуть. Выборка вариантов из англоязычной литературы ниже.
